Sample document and answer, for illustration.
The problem
The answer is in there somewhere.
Somewhere in a 120-page scanned PDF, an amendment from 2019, and last spring's meeting minutes. So you email the management company, and wait. Or you guess, and find out from a violation letter.
How it works
From "Can I?" to "Here's the rule" in four steps.
Request access
Download the app and tell us who you are and where you live. It takes about a minute.
A real person verifies you
An HOA Line reviewer confirms your address is in the community, then emails you a personal access code.
Ask anything
Fences, paint colors, pets, parking, rentals, dues. Every answer quotes your documents and shows where it came from.
Still stuck? Ask a reviewer
If the documents don't cover it, send the question to our team with one tap. The answer comes back in the app and by email.
Why homeowners use it
Straight answers from the documents that actually govern your home.
Every answer is cited
You see the document, section, and page, so you can check the wording yourself or show it to a neighbor.
Only your community's rules
HOA Line answers from your HOA's own documents. It doesn't guess from the internet or mix in another neighborhood's rules.
People behind it
When the documents are silent, a reviewer answers. Good answers become part of your community's FAQ for the next neighbor.
Ask the way you talk
Follow up with "what about a trailer?" and it knows what you mean. No legal vocabulary required.
Verified neighbors only
Access is by personal code after address verification, up to six members per household.
Reads the old scans, too
Recorded PDFs with deed-book stamps, Word files, spreadsheets of fees. If it's in your document packet, HOA Line can read it.
Questions homeowners ask
If you've wondered it, someone's already asked.
HOA Line quotes your documents. It isn't legal advice, and it doesn't replace your board. It just gets you to the right paragraph fast.
For HOA boards & management companies
Stop answering the same five emails.
Give every homeowner an always-on way to look up the rules, so your inbox is left for the questions that need a person.

FAQ
Good questions.
Is HOA Line legal advice?
No. HOA Line finds and quotes what your community's governing documents say. For how a rule applies to a specific situation, or for a dispute, talk to your board, your management company, or an attorney.
Which documents does it use?
Only the documents your community has provided: typically the Declaration of Covenants (CC&Rs), bylaws, architectural guidelines, rules and regulations, amendments, and community notices. Answers never come from outside sources.
What if my question isn't covered?
HOA Line tells you plainly that it couldn't find it, rather than guessing. Tap "Ask a reviewer" and a person from our team follows up in the app and by email.
Who can get access?
Homeowners and residents of a participating community. We verify your address before sending your personal access code. Up to six members of a household can each have their own code.
My community isn't on HOA Line yet. What now?
Fill out the contact form with your community's name and the best contact on your board or at your management company. We'll reach out and handle onboarding.
What happens to my information?
We use it to verify that you live in the community and to answer your questions. We don't sell it or use it for ads, and you can delete your account from the app at any time. See our privacy policy for the details.
